🌸 CANCER SUPPORT TRAINING

Movement with Care, Strength with Compassion

I am currently studying to become a Cancer Exercise Specialist, with the goal of supporting individuals affected by cancer through safe, evidence-based movement.

This path is deeply personal to me. I lost my mum to cancer, and that experience has given me a profound respect for the physical and emotional challenges that come with diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. It has shaped the way I coach with patience, empathy, and care at the centre of everything I do.

Who This Training Is For

This support is designed for people who:
• Are living with cancer
• Are undergoing or have completed treatment
• Are in recovery or remission
• Feel weak, fatigued, or disconnected from their body
• Want to rebuild strength safely and gradually
• Need a calm, understanding approach to movement

Every body is different, and every journey is unique. My role is to guide movement in a way that feels safe, respectful, and empowering.

What Cancer Support Training Focuses On;

Sessions are carefully adapted and may include:
✔ Gentle strength training
✔ Mobility and joint health
✔ Postural support
✔ Core stability
✔ Balance and coordination
✔ Breathing and nervous system regulation
✔ Energy-aware pacing
✔ Confidence-building movement

The focus is never on pushing limits but on restoring function, confidence, and quality of life.

My Approach

I work with a calm, supportive style, always listening to the body and adapting sessions based on how you feel that day. Rest, pauses, and modifications are encouraged and respected.

Training is guided by:
• Safety first
• Clear communication
• Individual needs
• Medical considerations
• Emotional wellbeing

This is not performance-based fitness.
It is movement as support, healing, and strength.

Availability

Cancer support training may be offered:
• One-to-one sessions
• In-studio or online (depending on needs)
• In collaboration with medical guidance where required

If you or a loved one would like to explore this support, please get in touch to discuss what feels appropriate and safe.
